Terms of Service

Tint & Kin is operated by an individual developer under the name Tint&kin. Contact support@tintkin.com for service questions and privacy@tintkin.com for privacy or account deletion requests.

Using Tint & Kin

Account and circle features are for adults. When creating an account, confirm that you have reached the applicable age of adulthood. This confirmation does not collect your date of birth or identity documents. Use an email address you control and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not impersonate others or bypass another person's account or circle permissions.

Local reading does not require an account. Signing in, buying a membership, joining a circle and enabling personal record synchronisation are separate choices.

Content and your records

Artwork, fonts and reading materials are subject to their applicable rights and attribution notices. In-app access does not grant unrestricted republication or commercial use. Share only through permitted uses and only content you have the right to share.

You retain rights to content you enter. You permit the processing necessary to provide the storage, synchronisation and sharing features you choose. This does not grant permission to publish your private reflections or use them for advertising.

Private circles

Keep invitation links private. A person who holds a valid invitation may enter its joining process. Circle members can see information you choose to display within the circle, including your profile and shared colour or status. Joining a circle does not make private reflections or quiet-session history visible to its members. Your private remarks about members remain subject to your own viewing permissions.

Check the preview before sharing outside the app. Content sent to another service or person may remain with that recipient after an invitation is revoked or your account is deleted.

Membership

Where purchases are available, the store confirmation screen specifies the price, currency, billing period and renewal conditions. Benefits require verification of an eligible purchase. Pending or failed verification is not confirmation of membership. Manage cancellation and refund requests through the store's applicable process.

An annual membership's nice-number selection opportunity is available once per account. Surrendering a selected number does not provide another selection opportunity. After membership expires, a new day's experience returns to the free theme; historical works and an unfinished daily reception keep their existing work.

Uninstalling the app, signing out, clearing data or deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Membership changes do not themselves delete your local reading records. Google Play purchases are not yet available during the current pre-release period.

Clearing data and deleting an account

Local clearing, clearing product cloud data and deleting your Tint & Kin account have different scopes. Read the confirmation before proceeding. Turning synchronisation off does not delete an existing cloud copy, and a request already sent may still finish processing.

Use the account deletion option in the app or request assistance at https://tintkin.com/account-deletion. A support email starts a request, not an immediate deletion. If you own a circle with other members, first complete an accepted ownership transfer or explicitly dissolve the circle. Offline devices and copies already shared with others may require separate attention.

Availability and changes

Service can be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity or supplier outages. Follow the app's pending, failure and completion states when checking an operation. Updated terms will identify their version and effective date. Where renewed acceptance is required, an earlier acceptance will not be silently reused.
